Hey Pals,

I’ve had to write my bio for so many different things and it’s always tough for me to do. I don’t know why, as I don’t seem to have any problem talking about myself, but for whatever reason, it is.

Anyway, here goes:

I was born into standup comedy. My grandfather, Van Harris, is a legend of the comedy world, having performed for over 60 years! And he’s still going at it! I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Las Vegas in the middle of high school. It was quite a culture shock, but once Vegas is in your blood, it stays there.
I graduated from Boston University with a degree in film (is this interesting at all?) and blah blah blah blah blah. On to the comedy portion:

In July 2009, I start an extended run at Bonkerz inside Palace Station in Vegas. It should be a lot of fun. In fall 2008, I headlined the Frat Boys of Comedy Initiation Tour that had me playing colleges all across the country. I performed not just in large auditoriums, but also frat house porches, basements, living rooms. It was a great way to get out there, do what I love, see the country and put about 20,000 miles on my mother’s car. (For the record, I have my own car, but it would have been dicey if it would have made it on all those trips.) In Las Vegas, I’ve run shows at night spots all over the city and currently run the Fly By Night Comedy Show at The Fly Lounge, a very cool place with ridiculously good food. I’ve appeared on National Lampoon College Television and National Lampoon Radio, but neither of those compare to my true television highlight, being on Romper Room at age 4. I got to sit on Miss Molly’s lap! (I wonder if she’s still alive…)

My other passion is film and I like to do it all act, write, direct and produce. I’ve appeared in films that have played at Sundance, AFI Fest and CineVegas.

And one last fun fact, I’ve seen Bruce Springsteen in concert well over 20 times. There’s a reason he’s The Boss! I hope this bio was more enjoyable for you to read than it was for me to write.

Love,
Jason
